Scholarship #2 – BigHit Foundation Scholarship

BigHit Foundation Scholarship is available for international students who want to study in South Korea. Students must meet following criteria: Students must be interested and agree with BigHit’s education philosophy and its corporate social responsibility, Students must be interested in pursuing a career related to K-Pop idols or Korean culture, Students can be anyone as long as they are an international student who is over 15 years old.

Scholarship #3 – The Posco Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded annually by Posco, one of the world’s leading steel companies. The aim of this scholarship is to support Korean students who wish to study abroad at a university located outside of South Korea. Recipients will receive $5,000 USD per semester for up to 4 semesters. A recipient is only permitted to study at a non-Korean institution once before receiving additional scholarships from Posco or other institutions.

Scholarship #4 – China Education Center Scholarships in South Korea

100% tuition fee coverage, 400-600 USD monthly stipend. Deadlines: 15th of January, April, July and October 2022. Scholarship #5 – KoRoot Educational Fund (KoRoot) / KoRoot Global Exchange Program 2023

One full scholarship is offered annually. The KoRoot Scholarship for 2022-2023 is open now through January 1, 2023. One international student from outside of Asia will be awarded one year tuition and fee waiver at Kangwon National University (KNU) located in Gangneung, Gangwon Province, South Korea.

Scholarship #6 – Korean Government : MEST Korean Language Education Overseas Support Program

MEST provides scholarships to applicants who want to study Korean language overseas. To be eligible, you must be a citizen of an Asian country and over 18 years old. In addition, you will need to pass an interview conducted by a Korea National Representative Office (KNO) in your home country. If successful, you’ll receive free Korean language training as well as full or partial funding to cover living expenses during your studies.

Scholarship #7 – Seoul National University (SNU) Undergraduate Admissions

The Seoul National University Scholarship provides a full-tuition waiver and annual stipend of ~$19,000 USD to international undergraduate students. Benefits also include round-trip airfare, monthly rent allowance of $600, health insurance, and more. SNU’s Undergraduate Admissions Office is located at: 37 Dongilro, Suwon, Gyeonggi province.

Scholarship #8 – Yonsei University Undergraduate Scholarships in South Korea

– SNU Foundation Global scholarship 2023

SNU-SNUF Scholarship: This scholarship is designed for students from developing countries or underprivileged backgrounds. It will cover their tuition fees, cost of living and study expenditures at a maximum of 5,000 USD per year. To apply, you must have scored 75%+ on your International High School Entrance Exam (ISEE) or equivalent and be entering an undergraduate program at Yonsei University in Seoul (Korea). The application deadline is February 2023

Scholarship #9 – Catholic High School Chinese Alumni Association

This is a university scholarship. Its aim is to support Chinese international students who want to study at Catholic High School of Busan. Students who would like to apply need to have an excellent academic record and participate in community activities, including human rights protection and charity work. A student who has won a domestic scholarship within two years prior or won at least three national competitions can’t apply, nor can foreign students who are already living in South Korea on an F-2 visa.

Scholarship #10 – Hanyang University Junior College Global Leadership Program 2016 / SNU-HKUST Super Combinatorial Math & Physics Camp 2013

Hanyang University Junior College Global Leadership Program 2016 is a 5-day seminar and an opportunity to study at Hanyang University Junior College, along with international students from more than 20 countries. The Scholarship covers airfare, accommodations, meals, course fee and insurance. In addition, transportation within Seoul is included during your stay as well as tickets to some of Seoul’s most popular attractions such as N Seoul Tower & Lotte World.
