2. Czech Government Scholarships 2023
African students, who are interested in studying at Czech universities can now apply. There are 25 fully funded scholarships offered by the Czech Government for African students.
3. Scholarships at TU Delft University
The Delft University of Technology (TU Delft) offers a Scholarship Fund of €3.5 million annually, with up to 15% of this fund earmarked for financial support. The number of scholarships is limited, so all applications will be considered in the order they are received.
4. 500 Swiss Government Excellence Scholarships
The Swiss Government Excellence Scholarship is one of the most coveted scholarships in the world. It awards 5 winners annually with a 10,000 euros award per month for 12 months. The recipient can study in any field of their choice on a full-time basis at one of Switzerland’s public universities or colleges. The Orange Knowledge program is an exchange scholarship initiative that was first initiated in 2005 by Dutch-based multinational company Orange and U.S.-based organization New America. 6. Aga Khan Foundation International Scholarships
The Aga Khan Foundation was founded in 1977 by His Highness the Aga Khan, spiritual leader of the Shia Ismaili Muslims. The Foundation is a non-profit international development agency that carries out development activities through a worldwide network of social entrepreneurship. Through its programmes and projects, AKF seeks to alleviate poverty, reduce inequalities, create employment opportunities, enhance the quality of life in targeted regions and address specific social issues.
7. Coca-Cola Africa Foundation Scholarships
A Coca-Cola Africa Foundation Scholarship is a fully funded scholarship opportunity open to all citizens of countries in the African region, who wish to pursue a full-time undergraduate degree at any recognized university in either South Africa or Nigeria. The application deadline is 15th October 2023. Successful applicants will be considered for renewable scholarships of up to 12 years in duration. Scholarship amounts are determined on a case-by-case basis with consideration given to available funding.
8. MasterCard Foundation Scholars Program
The MasterCard Foundation Scholars Program provides scholarships that cover tuition, room, board, books, transportation in a new country, orientation, personal counseling, and mentoring services.
Funding for the scholarships will be provided by the MasterCard Foundation up until 2023 with a potential renewal of an additional 10 years of funding.
In addition to funding from the foundation, 20% of all donations made between January 2023 and December 2023 will also go towards the MasterCards Foundation Scholarship Fund.
9. The Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders
The Mandela Washington Fellowship provides support, mentorship, and a sense of community to those with outstanding leadership potential who have demonstrated the ability to overcome significant challenges in pursuit of their goals. Established by President Obama in 2013 as the flagship initiative of the Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI), it is now open for young leaders ages 18-30. 3# Mo Ibrahim Foundation Scholarship
The Mo Ibrahim Foundation Scholarship is one of the most prestigious scholarships in Africa. It was established in 2006 by Sudanese telecoms billionaire, Mo Ibrahim with a remit to provide scholarships for Africans wishing to study postgraduate degrees outside of their country of origin. Recipients are awarded full funding for tuition fees, stipend, return airfare, and insurance up to £10,000.

1# Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarships 2023
The Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarships 2023 offer a maximum of $50,000 annually for three years, with an additional $10,000 doctoral award available. Funding is open to students from any background who are entering graduate studies.
