GSK Scholarships are open to university students of the United Kingdom and students from the following countries only: USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Ireland, and India who are attending either a college or university in the United Kingdom. Scholarships are granted based on financial need, academic merit, and potential to contribute positively to their community when they complete their studies at UK universities and colleges. The GSK Scholarships offer various awards over £3,000 each which can be used to help towards tuition fees or living costs during your studies at UK higher education institutions, including universities and colleges.

The Global Science & Innovation Scholars Program

GSK announced its new five-year, global program to recruit early-career researchers in 2019 it is launching a Global Science & Innovation Scholars Program (GSISP) focused on attracting talented scientists, as well as on fostering diversity within GSK. GSISP will start accepting applications in March 2024.

Under GSISP, GSK will award fellowships of up to $130,000 over two years ($65,000 per year) plus an annual allowance of $3,500 for research supplies and career development support for preselected young scientists in four countries: Brazil, China, India, and Italy. Successful candidates will receive funding to carry out their science programs (within parameters set by GSK) at labs across their host country.
