SBW Berlin Scholarship 2022-2023 is a fully paid scholarship for international students. These courses are offered undergraduate and master’s courses. The scholarship offers 100% tuition fees, monthly scholarships, accommodation and travel allowance and many other benefits.

SBW Berlin supports education projects around the world. Through our SBW Berlin Scholarship, we contribute to the development and dissemination of education and knowledge around the world.

The SBW Berlin Scholarship supports young people from abroad who have a poor family background and use the skills they acquired in their studies in Germany to promote long-term nonprofits, especially in their home countries.

We offer our bursaries through Bachelor’s and Master’s programs in Berlin and Potsdam on the basis of the student’s educational qualifications, skills and social needs. In general, all fields of science and art can be funded. In special cases we also assist in skills training in Berlin or Potsdam. Scholarships in your home country or in other German states are not included.

Scholarship Study

The SBW Berlin Scholarship offers the recipient the following benefits:

Room in flats shared with students in Berlin
The cost of living expenses in the amount listed in paragraph IX.
Tuition fees
Perhaps a travel allowance for your trip to Berlin before the start of your studies and a trip home after graduation

Qualifications criteria for the SBW Berlin Scholarship

To qualify for the SBW Berlin Scholarship, a candidate must meet all of the following requirements:

Required Language: English.
Eligible countries: All countries of the world.
Age limit: 18-30 years old
Applicants must be before the start of their university education or fully enroll in the first, second or major. third semester at a state-recognized university (Germany or abroad) or applying for a Master’s degree just before or after earning a Bachelor’s degree. The middle grades correspond to a German point average of at least 2.0.
Applicants cannot show lower incomes. The total household income of the applicants does not exceed the median income specified in their country. The income of all family members and all sources of family income will be considered (e.g.
Extraordinary Career Experience: Applicants with technical or voluntary experience in a non-profit field.

How do you apply for the SBW Berlin Scholarship?

Please follow the following application instructions to apply for this course.

Note: You must have an admission, accreditation or proof of eligibility at a university in Berlin or Potsdam.

(1) Complete the application form.

(2) Fill in your personal and contact information and submit your photo.

(3) Provide details about your current and previous education.

(4) Provide details about the following:

Your parents and family members.
The most recent school or university certificate
Higher school leaving certificate
Higher university degrees
Current job and your preferred job
Training, in the case of job application applications
Training and technical experience
Your skills, hobbies, and hobbies
Travel experience
Voluntary experience
(5) Include the following scriptures:

Motivational Letter (1 or 2 pages long)
A copy of your final school or university certificate showing the average grade for your grade
and overall distance view
a copy of your higher education degree (high school diploma or university certificate)
the average of your points and the overall view of the distance
If available, copies of the following documents are also available:

University admission or proof of your university degree
A copy of an internationally recognized language certificate of language in which
subjects will be taught
All previous jobs, training, apprenticeships and vocational training certificates
If you have already started studying: so far you have obtained university certificates and records
successful (planned and unrestricted)
We recommend to all applicants to submit additional, non-compliant documents:

one or two letters of recommendation from professors, teachers, employers, etc.
proof of family income
Note: Unauthorized copies and translations are sufficient to apply. If the applicant successfully passes the selection process, certified copies of some of those documents will be required during the verification process.

(6) The application and all attached certificates and supporting documents must be submitted to
German or English by email at application@sbw.berlin.

Final decision on whether to award the bursary (starting next semester)
expected in early February respectively in early August of each year.
